We collect and recover traffic fines, but we also collect other fines. These include compensation measures, confiscation orders, penalty payments, and administrative fines for other government agencies. The CJIB is also developing into an operational chain manager.
By carrying out these tasks, the CJIB makes an important contribution to the credibility and authority of the government.

One of the most important societal challenges facing the CJIB is socially responsible collection and recovery.
